Embodied Movement

The body is an access route to the unconscious mind.

What is beneath our conscious awareness significantly impacts our perceptions, thoughts, behavior, and the way we experience our lives.

My intention is to support you with a mindfulness-based, somatic approach to enhance self-insight and connection with the wholeness that’s already within you.

It’s easy to believe having symptoms is a sign that something is wrong with you that needs to be fixed.

Instead of trying to change or fix your symptoms, we will work with them, helping you to orient toward trusting your body rather than experiencing it as a source of suffering.

Together we will slow down with what’s present, inquire with what’s arising, and gently lean into what your body wants us to know.

Let’s collaborate.

"Catherine is a wonderful space holder and companion in deep soul-work. She has the beautiful skill of following threads of spoken language and body language to incredible wellsprings of healing. My sessions with her always leave me feeling held, witnessed, and like a more expansive version of myself."

Hi, I'm Catherine.

Pronouns: she/her/hers

I support people who desire to gain self-insight who struggle with nervous system overwhelm, sensitivity, chronic pain and illness, and anxiety to rediscover their inherent wholeness.

When it comes to holding a container for others, my strength lies in attunement. I hold deep care, reverence, and humility for each person who puts their trust into my hands to witness and support them in places of vulnerability.

I take this responsibility seriously, and I want each person to feel safe as we do this deep work together. My number one intention is to be collaborative with you in that I will wait for your consent prior to any experiential somatic work we do.

My own process of healing from chronic pain, severe anxiety, and depression stems from a deep desire to feel more at ease in my body. I have always been a kinesthetic, experiential learner, and a practitioner of the movement healing arts since I was a child. I have struggled with a 12-year cycle of chronic pain and fatigue, lifelong anxiety, and a 6-year long eating disorder.

The immense amount of inner work required to heal the root of these externalized expressions of internalized wounding is an ongoing process that I am deeply and passionately committed to, especially now as I serve others to do the same.

My intention is to help you discover the inherent wholeness that is already within you, and to have an embodied understanding that your emotional and physical symptoms are not a problem to be fixed, instead they are wise responses to be understood and honored.

Somatic coaching, bodywork, and therapeutic movement practices have been my medicine that I choose to share with others who seek a body/mind approach to healing.

“Working with Catherine has catapulted my recovery into new territory I wasn't able to get to on my own. Through working with her I've made massive strides - my symptoms are reduced, I'm living my life more fully, and I have a clear path for where to go from here.

My relationship to my symptoms has completely transformed in the short time working with Catherine and I would highly recommend her program to anyone who wants to explore mind-body healing or has already made progress on their own but would benefit from more support.”
